Working with Local Rescues

Stink Eye Photography realizes that there are a very large number of pets here in the McHenry County area waiting for their chance at a forever home. We want to help get those fur-babies adopted out!  If you own a local rescue, and would like to have pet portraits done to help them get adopted, Travis would love to do these for you!  Our complementary service will provide you with the following:

1. Photography session at your shelter or at a studio.

2.  Digital images provided via Google Drive, both for website and social media sharing, as well as print quality.

3.  Written release so that you may use the images in your printed rescue marketing materials.

Galgo Espanol After The Hunt

galgo-espanol-after-the-hunt.jpg

Travis volunteered with BAASGALGO Association in February of 2015, where he spent a week in the Numancia de la Sagra Perrera (Dog Pound) with the BAAS volunteers and the Galgos. He witnessed the Galgos being dropped off by their hunters, skin and bones, sores all over their bodies and so frightened, and saw how the volunteers worked with the dogs and started to build a bond with them. The change in the dogs after a couple of days was very noticeable. You could see the change in their eyes and how the new Galgos would follow the volunteers as they gained trust in humans again. On his last day at the Perrera, he knew he had to honor the great work of the volunteers at BAASGALGO Association and show them the result of their dedication and hard work.

This photo book is dedicated to all the volunteers at BAASGALGO Association.

Faces of Rescue

Beautiful portraits of rescued dogs from Spain. The Galgo Espanol is a beautiful and elegant dog that suffers horrible abuse in its home country of Spain. Each portrait shows their loving personality, beauty, and their past. Each portrait is accompanied with a story about the dog from their adoptive family.
