Giving Back

“Animals are more than ever a test of our character, of mankind’s capacity for empathy and for decent, honorable conduct and faithful stewardship. We are called to treat them with kindness, not because they have rights or power or some claim to equality, but in a sense because they don’t; because they all stand unequal and powerless before us.” ― Matthew Scully

Stink Eye Photography realizes that there is a very large number of pets here in the McHenry County area waiting for their chance at a forever home. We want to help get those fur-babies adopted out!  If you own a Rescue, and would like to have Pet Portraits done to help them get adopted, I would love to do those for you!  Our Complementary service will provide you with the following:

1. Photography session at your shelter or at a studio.

2.  Digital Images provided by Google Drive, both for Website and social media sharing, as well as print quality.

3.  Written release so that you may use the images in your printed Rescue marketing materials.

Galgo Espanol After The Hunt

I volunteered with BAASGALGO Association in February of 2015. I spent a week in the Numancia de la Sagra Perrera (Dog Pound) with the BAAS volunteers and the Galgos. I witnessed the Galgos being dropped off by their hunters, skin and bones, sores all over their bodies and so frightened. I saw how the volunteers worked with the dogs and started to build a bond with them. The change in the dogs after a couple of days was very noticeable. You could see the change in their eyes and how the new Galgos would follow the volunteers as they gained trust in humans again. On my last day at the Perrera, I knew I had to honor the great work the volunteers at BAASGALGO Association and show them the result of their dedication and hard work.

This Photo book is dedicated to all the volunteers at BAASGALGO Association.
